The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The scroll is in a good and stable condition overall. Consistent with age there is overall creasing and minor wear and small tears to the edges. The text remains strong overall, however there is some minor loss to the pigments mainly to the polychrome headpiece and at the end of the scroll. There is a small crack to the paper at the upper edge of the scroll. The reverse is plain.
