The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There is minor restoration to the folio including repairs to the edges and repaired wormholes to the margins. The ink remains dark and rich and the text is clear and legible throughout. The pigments of the illuminated verse marker are clear overall with some minor losses. There are small cracks to the folio where the ink has corroded through, consistent with age, some of these areas have been repaired but this does not affect the legibility of the text. As illustrated, there is minor discolouration to the upper margin and the ink causes shadowing on the other side of the folio. This folio is in a fair condition overall.
