The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This manuscript is in a good and stable condition overall. The text block has light creases, consistent with use. The folios are clean overall with some minor discolouration and occasional smudges, and the illumination sometimes causes faint shadowing on the other side of the folio. The text is clear and legible throughout. The pigments remain strong overall and the illustrations are clear, although there are very minor losses to the illuminated panels. The manuscript has occasional small restorations to the margins.

The binding is stable. There is minor surface wear and rubbing to the gilding, and several small wormholes, consistent with age.
