The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This Qur'an is in stable condition overall. The text block has minor restorations to the corners which do not affect the text. The pigments remain clear overall, however, there are some minor losses to the illuminated panels, consistent with age. The text is clear and legible throughout. There is minor discolouration to the margins including thumbmarks consistent with use, and the pigments of the illumination cause shadowing on the other side of the folio.

The binding is in good and stable condition. The spine is restored and there are further smaller areas of restoration to the covers. There is minor surface wear, consistent with handling.
