Arabic manuscript on paper, 270ff. as numbered plus two modern flyleaves, 15ll. of small black naskh script with sini characteristics, red roundel verse markers, within red rules, sura headings in red, some within gold and polychrome illuminated cartouches, occasional marginal notes, opening and closing bifolios with gold and polychrome illuminated cartouches issuing palmettes framing text, the preceding bifolio with two gold and polychrome illuminated panels, a similar panel following the text with added date of Monday 12 Muharram AH 900/13 October 1494 AD, with later added prayers, minor restoration, in restored Chinese stamped morocco binding with flap
