The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There is water staining to the edges of the text panels, affecting up to 14ll. of text in places, the text remains legible, and there is light water staining to lower edge of borders. There are areas of wear and repair mainly at start and end, including some cracks to the rules of the text panel. Some folios are slightly loose. The opening illumination is generally still clear and bright. The binding has some wear, consistent with handling.
