Marie-Noëlle Ledru, a legendary grower-producer based in Ambonnay, has gained a loyal following for her finely crafted, Pinot Noir-driven Champagnes that emphasize power, elegance, and terroir expression. With a small, carefully managed estate in Ambonnay and Bouzy, Ledru farms organically, focusing on soil health and low yields to enhance concentration and purity in the grapes. In the cellar, her approach is traditional and minimalist, allowing each plot to express its unique character. Ledru’s wines are marked by vibrant fruit, pronounced minerality, and a refined mousse, with low or no dosage to highlight their natural acidity and balance. Her Champagnes are known for their balance of richness and finesse, offering immediate pleasure along with the potential to age gracefully, showcasing the strength and elegance of the Montagne de Reims terroir.
