La tela è stata rifoderata ed è presente una vernice lucida e craquelure prominente. L'esame sotto UV dimostra ritocchi sparsi, soprattutto per rafforzare le zone più scure. Il disegno e le pennellate possono ancora essere apprezzati.
The canvas has been relined, and there is a glossy surface varnish and a prominent pattern of craquelure. The examination under UV shows scattered retouching, especially to strengthen the darker areas. The drawing and the brushwork can still be appreciated.
