Léonard Foujita realizza paesaggi per metà immaginari e per metà figurativi, dove i piani prospettici si raddrizzano per mostrare ogni aspetto. Questi suoi primi dipinti ad olio appaiono come poesie giapponesi: brevi, dense, suggestive e profonde.

Léonard Foujita creates landscapes half imaginary and half figurative, where the perspective planes straighten to show every aspect. These first oil paintings appear as Japanese poems: short, dense, suggestive and deep.
