The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Piccole sbeccature e lesioni alle estremità dell'intaglio. Rotture, sfaldamenti e alcuni ritocchi in corrispondenza delle superfici dipinte e dorate. Irregolarità e usura della doratura, in particolare delle zampe. Tracce di vecchi tarli apparentemente inattivi sui supporti angolari.
Overall in good order, structurally stable and ready to place. The mirrored tops have been artificially aged with some losses to the silvering and foxing. Minor chips and losses to the extremities of the carving. Chips, flaking and some retouching to the painted and gilt surfaces. Rubbing and wear to the gilding particularly to the paws. Traces of old apparently inactive woodworm to the corner blocks.
