The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Gouache, tempera and pen and India ink on lithographic base on wove paper. The reverse of the sheet is hinged to the mount at the four reverse corners. The sheet undulates in places, inherent to the artist medium. A horizontal flattened crease (approx. 2.5 cm) at the upper left corner. Some lesser handling creases and one or two tiny nicks at the extreme edges in places. The pigments are very strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Gouache, tempera et plume et encre de Chine sur base lithographique sur papier vélin. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu pas des charnières au montage aux quatre coins. La feuille ondule par endroits, inhérent au médium de l’artiste. Une froissure horizontale aplatie (approx. 2.5 cm.) sur le coin supérieur gauche. Quelques petites froissures de manipulations et une ou deux petites encoches par endroits à l’extrémité des bords. Les pigments sont très vifs et frais sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparait en très bonne condition générale.
