Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Pen and brush and India ink, wash and India ink, pastel and pencil on wove paper. The reverse of the sheet is hinged to the mount in two places at the four reverse corners. The left and right edges are deckled with a few associated minor nicks. The sheet undulates slightly in places inherent tot the artist’s medium. A couple of areas of coloured crayon rubbing in the lower right quadrant. The pigments are very strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
