Brush and India ink and wax crayon on laid paper. The reverse of the sheet is hinged to the mount in two places at the upper reverse edge. The tape remnants of four old hinges at the four reverse sheet corners. The sheet stems from the artist’s drawing pad as visible from the uneven left sheet edge, with associated small paper losses and short tears. Some pale discolouration of the paper throughout mainly visible at the sheet edges. A few minute fox marks in places mainly towards the upper and lower edges. The India ink is very strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
