The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Please note that this is an historical artefact. Some of its language and terminology, which reflects the context and culture of the time of its creation, is now considered outdated and culturally offensive; its contents may be at odds with contemporary views. Some Agatha Christie books printed in 1939 and after contain a printed list advertising her other books, including one which originally used a racial slur. The Christie estate subsequently changed the name of this work to And Then There Were None.
