First edition, presentation copy inscribed by the author. Octavo. (Half-title faintly browned.) Original grey cloth, titles to spine in red (spine sunned, endpapers spotted); original dust-jacket supplied from another copy (a little rubbed and creased with a few short closed tears); housed in modern black half morocco box. Provenance: authorial presentation inscription on the title: ‘With much love from Christopher’.

First edition. Octavo. Original green cloth, titles to spine in black (endpapers faintly browned, minor fading to corners and spine ends); original dust-jacket (spine a little sunned, lightly rubbed and nicked); housed in custom black half morocco box.

First edition. Octavo. (Scattered spotting.) Original blue cloth, titles to spine black; original dust-jacket (somewhat tanned and spotted).

First edition, fourth printing, signed by the author. Octavo. Original grey boards, titles and decoration to upper board in purple and cream, spine with vignette and title in purple and cream (spine lightly rolled, spine ends lightly rubbed); original price-clipped dust-jacket (small chips to dust-jacket, lightly marked and spotted, a few tape repairs to verso).
