The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Structurally sound and ready to place. The gilding with a bright, clean appearance overall. Light staining to the circular base. The marble considerably repaired, evidenced by a thick resin coating to one half othe basin, likely concealing an old break. The resin now lifting in areas, and darker in color than original marble. The underside with evidence of plaster fill likely to support restored breaks.
