Overall good condition and ready to place. The gilt-gesso evenly rubbed revealing white bole beneath and with a matte finish. Scattered cracking and minor losses to gilding and gesso. The dolphins probably associated. The mirror plate apparently original and with some foxing. Nozzles and drip pans later, one missing an element below the nozzle. Both serpents with repaired cracks and associated regilding.
