The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Both roundels in overall very good condition. Minor surface abrasions and dirt to both. The velvet from the mats completely lost. The giltwood frames with expected losses, chips, and wear showing through to gesso to red bole. The Pantheon with a small crack to the right side of the black slate ground. St. Peter's with discoloration to the lower edge of the black ground from the framing mat.
