The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The enameled ship is partially effaced. Under UV light, it is evident the mug has been restored stemming from the rim along the right-side of the ship down across to the bottom of the mug beneath the stern of the vessel. The restoration is skillfully done with minimal yellowing to the glaze/porcelain.
