The design for the 'Bird Catcher' saucers is probably after a painting by Pater. See Howard & Ayers, China for the West, London and New York, 1978, vol. II, p. 360, no. 349 for the Mottahedeh example.

The Bird Catcher saucers: in very good condition overall, with minimal wear to the enamel and two tiny potting imperfections to one saucer. 4⅛ in. diameter
The Seamstress coffee cups and saucers: one coffee cup with a star-shaped crack to the right of the seamstress extending up the side to the rim. The handle with a few firing cracks. The other coffee cup with glaze imperfections on the interior of the cup. One saucer with a short line at 12 o'clock (approx. 1¼ in. long). The other with a short line at 7 o'clock (approx. 1 in. long) that has overpaint that is slightly yellowed and with minor crazing. 2⅜ in. high
