The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First:
-There is a shallow chip with associated touch-up and a minor horizontal crack to the mouth rim.
-There are some minor losses to the glaze, particularly to the raised elements.
-"918-k" and "24.377" have been inscribed on the base.

Second:
-There is wear to the mouth rim.
-There are some scattered pinprick holes.
-There is residue of old glue to the foot rim.
-"24.382" and "483" have been inscribed on the base.

Third:
Cover:
-There is wear to the surface, and to the mouth rim.
-"25.1013 B" has been inscribed on the interior.

Box:
-There is a small glaze gap on the interior.
-There is wear to the foot rim.
-"25.1013" has been inscribed on the base.

Fourth:
-There is a hairline to the exterior.
-There are some scattered pinprick holes.
-"488" and "24.403" have been inscribed on the base.


Fifth:
-There are some light surface scratches.
-"900k" and "24.400" have been inscribed on the base.
