The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-A section on one side of the upper neck has been off and restuck with associated losses to the glaze, and associated touch-up.
-There is a short firing crack to the leaf in relief on the shoulder.
-There is a short firing crack to the interior of the foot.
-"865" and "24.390" have been inscribed on the base.
