The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One figure:
-There is malachite encrustation.
-There are expected surface wear.
-There are minute knocks to edges and extremities.
-There is wear to the edges of the collar.
-"1982.1428" has been inscribed on one foot.

The other figure:
-There is malachite encrustation.
-The pin to the hinge is missing.
-There are knocks to edges and extremity as expected.
-There are surface wear, particularly to one side of the stomach.
-There is a crack to the area where the tail touches the romp.
-"1982.1429" has been inscribed on one foot.
