The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One lantern:
-There is expected wear to the enamels and gilding.
-There is a chip to the interior shoulder.
-There are surface scratches.
-There is wear to the rim on the base.

One base:
-There is expected wear to the enamels and gilding.
-There is a notch to the base, probably inherent to manufacture.

Other lantern:
-There is expected wear to the enamels and gilding.
-There is an area of overspraying to the ruyi border.
-There are some surface scratches
-There is wear to the foot rim.

Other base:
