The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One figure:
-There are losses to the pigment on the beak, crown, and claws.
-There are a few minor firing cracks to the wings and the tail.
-There is a short vertical crack to the base, with an associated hairline crack.
-There a few short cracks to the interior of the base.
-There are some chips to the base.
The other figure:

-There is a circular hairline crack to the top part of the base.
-There is a hairline crack to the end of the tail with an associated loss to the enamels.
