The jar is carved through the red overlay to the semi-translucent white ground with two shaped panels on either side framed by elaborate floral scrolls, one enclosing figures within a pavilion in a mountainous landscape, the other enclosing warriors on horseback.
7 in. (17.6 cm.) high
