The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First:
-There is a hairline crack extending from the mouth rim to the collar.
-There are losses to the glaze of the raised rim of the panels.
-There is a faint glaze line encircling the area right above the foot.
-There is a small shallow chip to the foot rim.
-"00.1374" has been inscribed on the base.
One Cover:
-The cover has been broken in two halves and restuck.
-There are a few minute iron spots.
One Jar:
-There is wear to the foot rim.
-"38.1268" has been inscribed on the base.

-There are a few pinprick holes.
