The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First:
-There are wear and losses of glaze to the rim and edges.
-There is hairline crack extending from the mouth rim to the interior.
-There are a few areas of losses of glaze to where the body joins the foot.
-There is a chip and few nicks to the foot rim.
-There is a drill hole to the center of the base, most likely inherent to manufacture.
Second:
-The jardinière has been broken into several pieces and restuck with associated restoration.
-There are chips to the mouth rim.
-There are patches to the body.
-There are chips to the base; the base has been drilled, most likely inherent to manufacture.
-"67.121" has been inscribed on the base.
