Details
The first, a ruyi scepter, is carved on the head with a scholar playing an instrument and on the body with 'antiques' and archaistic designs; the second, a melon-form box and cover, is carved overall with crickets, a praying mantis and other insects amidst leafy gourd vines.
15 in. (38.1 cm.) long; 414 in. (10.6 cm.) wide
