The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in condition of the piece after its initial manufacture. There is a 3 1/8 in. break to the rim which is divided into 2 pieces, with minute chips and abrasions along the repaired lines, most noteworthy is a small chip to the rim at the central line of the break. There is a very shallow chip on the exterior of the rim and a minute spot of glaze abrasion on the interior rim opposite. There are the expected minute nicks to the footrim.
