The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in condition of the piece after its initial manufacture.
Tallest vase: There are two light surface scratches on one side near the foot. There are some burst glaze bubbles to the sides, and the foot has been polished.
Circular box and cover: The cover and box are adhered and the box is adhered to the wood stand. Otherwise the box and cover appear to be in over all good condition.
The square water pot with chilong: There is a chip to the horn, nose, and tail of the chilong. The foot and the corners of the foot has been polished. There are pinprick burst glaze bubbles through out.
The other water pot with chilong: There is a firing crack extending from the mouth rim by the chilong. There are other short firing cracks to the mouth and foot rims and to one lower corner. The foot have been polished. There are pinprick burst glaze bubbles through out. There is wear to the turquoise enamel.
the meiping: The vase is adhered to a wood stand. Otherwise the vase appears to be in over all good condition.
the water pot: There are several restored breaks. The entire vessel has been overpainted, including the turquoise base. There is a chip to the mouth rim, and a few polished frits and minute nicks to the mouth. There are burst glaze bubbles throughout.
