The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in condition of the piece after its initial manufacture.
The base, some drawers and all hardware have been replaced. There are age cracks and filled cracks (some with loss to the fills), including one across the proper right side and another to the cover. The cover has been sun-bleached. There are water marks and some drip-like staining to the cover and the back side. There are the expected chips, nicks, suface scratches and light indentation to the edges and extremities due to age and use. The color of the lining is faded.
