The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in condition of this piece after its initial manufacture.
One dish: A chip to the mouth rim.
The other dish: A small area of touch-up to the mouth rim and an area of polish to the interior.
Both foot and mouth rims have been slightly polished. Both with light surface abrasions. As can be seen in the illustration, the marks on the reverse side of the dishes are written in a different style.
