The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in condition of the piece after its initial manufacture.
Washer: The washer is adhered to a wood base. There are some areas of loss, chips, nicks and minute white bruises to the mouth rim and carved decoration. There are some scratches and suface abrasion to the interior.
Libation cup: There is a polished chip with associated areas of loss to the mouth. There are several polished chips to the carved decoration and areas of loss with associated areas of polish to the narrow sides. There are chips, nicks and minute yellowish-white bruises to the mouth rim and carved decoration. There are some scratches and suface abrasion to the interior and foot. There are some black residue to the exterior near the mouth rim. There are some fissures and inclusions in the stone which are inherent to the material.
