A BLUE AND WHITE BOWL
17TH CENTURY
The exterior is decorated with various birds, including phoenixes and ducks, amidst a verdant and watery landscape. The interior is decorated with a medallion of a bird on a branch and an outcrop within double-circles, and there is an apocryphal Jiajing six-character mark on the base.
6 5/8 in. (16.8 cm.) diam.

The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
