SONG DYNASTY (AD 960-1279)
The pillow has incurved sides and is covered with a deep brown glaze. Together with a blue-glazed baluster vase and a blue-glazed baluster cup, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
Pillow: 8 ¼ in. (21 cm.) wide, wood stand
Vase and cup: 4 ¼ and 3 in. (10.8 and 7.6 cm.) high

Provenance
The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
