A CARVED WHITE CIZHOU BOWL AND A BLACK CIZHOU BOWL
YUAN DYNASTY (1279-1368)
The first bowl is covered in a white slip and carved on the interior with a combed pattern. The second bowl has flared sides and a tall straight rim, and is covered in a deep brown glaze.
6 ½ and 5 3/8 in. (16.5 and 13.6 cm.) diam.

Provenance
The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
