A CIZHOU BLACK-PAINTED WHITE-GROUND LAMP AND A SMALL JUNYAO BOWL
JIN-YUAN DYNASTY, 12TH-13TH CENTURY
The oil lamp is decorated on the everted rim with black leaves on a white slip, and the foot is unglazed. The bowl is covered with a glaze of rich purplish-blue tone thinning to mushroom on the rim.
5 and 4 1/16 in. (12.7 and 10.3 cm.) diam.

Provenance
The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
