The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of the piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Erotic bottle:
- bottle has been broken into half with other associated breaks, which have been restored and with some overpainting
- gilt has been refreshed
Copper red decorated blue and white bottle:
- scattered pinprick holes
- light surface scratches
- minute firing flaws near foot
- foot rim has been slightly buffed
- iron spot near mark
Landscape bottle:
- polished chip to mouth, shoulder, edges and foot
- small chip to foot
- light rubbing to the enamels and iron red decoration
