A FAMILLE ROSE PEAR-SHAPED VASE
REPUBLIC PERIOD
The vase is decorated on the exterior with a depiction of the Daoist Immortal Li Tieguai, holding a double-gourd in his raised right hand, facing two figures dancing around a smoking censer. The base is decorated with an apocryphal Qianlong mark.
6 ¾ in. (17.1 cm.) high

Provenance
The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
