KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The brushpot is decorated on the exterior with a scene of a man fishing in a watery landscape on one side, with a couplet describing the scene and a signature, Shi Yin, on the reverse.

The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
