A FLAMBÉ-GLAZED LEAF-FORM BRUSH WASHER
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The washer is modeled in the form of a peach, borne on a leafy branch bearing a smaller peach, and covered with a purplish red streaked with milky blue glaze thinning to mushroom at the edges. Together with a shallow leaf-form brush washer, covered with a bright blue glaze with dark blue speckles.
4 5/8 and 7 in. (11.7 and 17.8 cm.) diam.

The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
