A GILT-DECORATED CORAL-GROUND BOWL AND COVER
JIAQING SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON-RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The exteriors of the bowl and cover are decorated with medallions enclosing the characters, wan shou wu jiang ('a long life without end'), interspersed with peony meander with endless knots and bats. The interiors of both are decorated with a shou character surrounded by five bats (wufu).
8 5/8 in. (21.9 cm.) diam.

Provenance
The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
