A LARGE RED AND BLUE HU-SHAPED VASE
19TH CENTURY
The exterior of the vase is decorated in underglaze blue and iron red with birds and a deer amidst flowering blossoms and branches, all against a pale celadon ground. The handles are decorated with a metallic glaze.

Provenance
The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
