A LONGQUAN CELADON BOWL AND A QINGBAI BOWL
SONG-MING DYNASTY (AD 960-1644)
The Longquan celadon is carved with an illegible character in the center of the interior, and is covered in an olive-green glaze overall. The Qingbai bowl is carved with two fish amidst waves in the center, and is covered in a pale-blue glaze that stops short at the mouth and foot rims. Together with a grey-glazed bottle vase.
5 7/8 and 7 in. (14.9 and 17.8 cm.) diam.
Vase: 5 ¾ in. (14.6 cm.) high

The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
