The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Vase:
- restored chips to mouth rim
- scattered glaze lines
- scattered glaze gaps
- chips and nicks to the foot
- kiln grit adhesion to foot, some of which has been buffed
Budai:
- repaired chip to edge of nose
- misfired with associated glaze flakes to back of figure, and other scattered glaze flakes throughout
- expected nicks and chips to raised edges and extremities
