A PAIR OF DOUCAI CONICAL BOWLS
19TH-20TH CENTURY
Each bowl is painted on the interior and exterior with stylized scrolling tendrils between double line borders. The bases are inscribed with apocryphal Xongxian Yuzhi marks. Together with a famille rose dish, enameled with butterflies perched on blossoming branches, with an apocryphal Yongzheng mark inscribed on the base.
4 1/8 and 5 11/16 in. (10.6 and 14.7 cm.) diam.

Provenance
The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
