REPUBLIC PERIOD
The vessel has a wide flaring mouth and is covered outside and in with black glaze speckled with grey and metallic tones. The base is inscribed Wu Qiusheng zuo ('made by Wu Qiusheng').

Provenance
The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
