The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Qingbai bowl:
- shallow chips, nicks and staining to the unglazed mouth
- small glaze flakes, polished kiln grit and light surface wear to interior
- minute nicks to foot rim
Yaozhou bowl:
- mouth rim slightly buffed
- a few light scratches to the interior
- polished foot rim with a few small chips, nicks, and kiln grit adhesion to the base
Cizhou bowl:
- mouth rim slightly buffed
- scattered glaze lines, iron spots and faint firing cracks
- three spur marks with associated black speckling and shallow glaze chip to the interior
- glaze near base slightly misfired
- light buffing and minute chips and nicks to foot rim
