TWO JUNYAO BOWLS
SONG-MING DYNASTY (AD 960-1644)
The large Junyao bowl is covered in a semi-opaque green glaze that stops short of the knife cut foot. The small Junyao bowl is covered with a greyish-blue glaze and with faint purple-toned splash on the exterior sides. Together with a small Longquan celadon bowl with rounded sides.
7 ¼, 4 ¼, and 3 ½ in. (18.5, 10.9, and 9 cm.) diam.

Provenance
The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
